Hansea joins the United Nations Global Compact, the largest global initiative around corporate responsibility. The step underlines its commitment - together with sister company Munckhof and within the Inframobility group - to fair, environmentally conscious and transparent business practices.

Global initiative, carried locally
The UN Global Compact is a United Nations initiative that calls on companies to align their policies with ten universally recognised principles. These principles cover human rights, working conditions, environmental protection and the fight against corruption. Participating companies also commit to actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Concrete commitment
By joining the Global Compact, Hansea commits to:

  • respect and strengthen human rights,
  • guarantee safe and fair working conditions,
  • conduct business in an environmentally conscious and forward-looking manner,
  • resolutely reject any form of corruption.
In addition, progress in applying these principles is reported annually.
Hans van Dam, Group Sustainability Manager Inframobility group: "Sustainability is a key part of our business strategy — not only in the mobility solutions we offer, but also in how we operate and conduct business. Joining the UN Global Compact fits within this long-term vision and reinforces our ambition to actively contribute to a transparent and sustainable economy."
With this step, Hansea joins a network of more than 20,000 companies in over 160 countries, working together for a better and more sustainable world.
