Every day, our drivers help thousands of people get where they need to go. Our technicians keep our buses safe, reliable and ready for the road. On 22 October, we put both teams in the spotlight at Hansea. It’s a chance to thank them for their expertise, dedication and the difference they make every day.

Our drivers: people at the heart of every journey

An early school run, the daily commute, a bus through the city or a coach trip: our drivers take people to the places that matter to them. In doing so, they help people learn, work, meet up and enjoy a day out.

Their work involves much more than driving. They know their routes, welcome passengers on board and take responsibility for getting them to their destination safely. It takes concentration, patience and skill, even when traffic is heavy or a journey doesn’t go as planned.

Our technicians: expertise behind every journey

Keeping our buses on the road each day also depends on our technicians. In our workshops, they carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs. From a small technical fix to diagnosing a complex fault, they use their knowledge and experience to keep our buses safe and reliable.

Passengers may not always see their work, but they rely on it. Behind every journey is the care and precision of our workshop colleagues. Their expertise deserves just as much recognition as the work behind the wheel.
